Changing Our Community

Since 2016, Our Giving Garden has been on a mission to interrupt poverty in our community through fresh food access, education, and green space. What started as a handful of volunteers behind a local church has grown into a three-acre nonprofit farm that serves over 350 people every month.

100% of what we grow — including fresh organic produce, eggs, and honey — is donated back to the community with no questions asked. We also gather donations such as other food items, books, and coats and process them for families in need across the community. To date, we have grown or processed over 30 tons of food for families in need. We donated around 30,000 pounds in 2025 alone!

All proceeds are used to maintain the Giving Garden or to provide donations to those in need within our community.

There is limited paid staff, and much of the organization today is still run by volunteers. If you are interested in joining our cause to interrupt poverty, please reach out at community@ourgivinggarden.org!
