Changing Our Community

The garden was established in October 2016 with just a handful of volunteers working the land behind a local church. We will celebrate our 10 year anniversary in 2026!

Since then, the Giving Garden has donated over 17,000 pounds of organic produce and farm-fresh eggs to our free food pantry and other pantries in the area. In 2025 alone, we processed and donated almost 30,000 pounds of produce, eggs and donated food.

The Garden has also been responsible for gathering donations such as other food items, books, and coats for families in need across the community.

All proceeds are used for maintaining the Giving Garden itself, or to be used for providing donations to those in need within our community.

There is limited paid staff, and the organization today is still run by volunteers from the local community. if you are interested in joining our cause to interrupt poverty, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
